Structured AI interviews for employer hiring teams
A resume can describe experience without showing how a candidate approaches the work. TalentTree uses structured AI interviews to collect job-relevant evidence, with human interviews and stakeholder review adding context to the decision.
Start with the role, then choose the assessment
Define the skills and responsibilities you need to assess before selecting interview questions. A technical role, a customer-facing role and a supervisory role need different evidence. Use a consistent set of role-relevant criteria so reviewers understand what they are comparing.
TalentTree connects structured AI interviews with candidate profiles, human interview feedback and stakeholder review. The goal is to make evidence easier to review within the hiring journey, rather than treating an assessment result as the entire decision.
How the evidence fits the hiring workflow
- Organise the candidate context. AI resume parsing structures resume information for skills and experience review. Information extracted from a resume still needs appropriate checking.
- Collect role-relevant responses. Structured interview questions explore the capabilities required for the job. Agree which areas need assessment before inviting candidates.
- Add human judgement. Human interviews can explore unclear answers, discuss the candidate’s experience and add context that an automated assessment may miss.
- Review the Talent Passport. Bring experience, available assessment results, feedback and verification evidence into a shared candidate view. Check which steps have actually been completed.
- Decide the next step. Hiring stakeholders use the evidence alongside the role requirements and their own review process to determine whether to proceed.
What AI interviews can and cannot establish
A structured interview provides evidence from a particular assessment in a particular context. It does not establish every aspect of a candidate’s ability, verify every claim on a resume or guarantee future performance. Keep important decisions subject to human review.
Before using an assessment, consider whether the questions match the job, whether candidates can complete the required steps and how your team will handle incomplete or unclear evidence. Discuss candidate instructions, consent, accessibility needs and any alternative assessment requirements during the walkthrough.
A practical platform evaluation checklist
- Job relevance: Which skills do the questions assess, and how do they relate to actual responsibilities?
- Reviewable evidence: What information can a hiring manager examine beyond a summary result?
- Human follow-up: Where can interviewers add feedback and investigate unanswered questions?
- Workflow fit: How do assessments connect to candidate review, offers and joining?
- Candidate experience: What instructions, consent steps and support does the proposed workflow require?
Use a representative role in your walkthrough so your team can evaluate the process against its own hiring needs.
Questions employers ask
Does TalentTree replace human interviews?
No. Structured AI assessments and human interviews serve different purposes. Human feedback adds context, and stakeholders retain responsibility for hiring decisions.
Is every Talent Passport fully verified?
No. A Talent Passport reflects the assessments, interviews and checks completed for that candidate. Review the available evidence and any pending steps.
